Set up Mail for Mac OS X

How to set up Mac Mail for email.

These instructions were created using an Apple MacBook Pro running OS X Yosemite. Steps may vary depending on your software version and computer model.
  1. Click Mail.

    If you're setting up Mac Mail for the first time, a popup will appear asking you to choose a mail account to add. Otherwise click Mail Accounts.
     
  2. Click Exchange, and then click Continue.
  3. Enter your name, Essex ID and password, and then click Continue.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Choose your sync options or leave them as default, and then click Done.
  6. After a few moments, your University mail will appear in your inbox.
