Moodle FAQs for students

I can't see all of my modules when I log into Moodle

This could be because your lecturer has decided not to use Moodle to store module materials. You should check the Education section in My Essex to see where your module materials are held.

I want access to Moodle courses from a previous academic year

There is a Moodle archive area where you can find your module materials from previous academic years. When you login to Moodle, look in the Essex links block on the right-hand side, for the link to the archive site.

I can't access any modules when I login to Moodle

This can sometimes mean that your official registration/enrolment at the University hasn't been processed. Moodle updates on a nightly basis so if you have recently registered for modules then wait 24 hours before trying to access Moodle. If you still don't have access, contact the Learning Technology Team.
